How many hours do you need? According to the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) a complete novice will need to take 45 hours of tuition, with an additional 20 hours private practise to pass. The table below gives a rough guide of our view on the amount of training hours need. It is designed to help you to realise the cost of your training but the amount could be a lot less in reality. These hours are also based on taking one, two hour lesson per week. After your first lesson, your Instructor will give you a better idea of how long you will take to reach test standard.
